First Day of School!

This is the 1st day of school ever for Laurie and Megan!  I have been homeschooling for over 6 years and only after high accolades and talking to the principal did I agree to "try out" White Pine Charter School.  It is a very scary thing to turn your children over to people who you don't know.  The uncertainty of what is being taught, who they are influenced by, and what part of their development I am missing out on is what has kept me from putting them in school earlier.  But, we are trying school out on a trial basis.  It will be a good learning experience for all of us I think.  The girls sure are excited.
